Product description, properties and application

SchücoFlam® E is suitable for both internal and external use and in addition to its fire-resisting capability also offers optimal smoke protection properties. In contrast to normal pre-stressed glass, this fire-protecting safety glass has considerably better mechanical and thermal properties for optimal person and property protection in the event of fire.
In the case of a fire, SchücoFlam® E offers a high-class protection against the penetration of fire, smoke and hot toxic gases. In the event of a fire, the glazing remains transparent and intact and allows the people in the building to make a safe exit. The emergency services will become aware of the source of danger rapidly and can start immediately with smoke removal as well as well as firefighting and rescue activities.

Additional information on façades
A special feature in AT is that there are no complete fire protection façades, but usually only sections.
This means that in these cases a ÜA marking is required.
Open elements with a closed system cannot be checked and a CE marking is therefore inadmissible (e.g. balconies).
