AMFT is the platform of the metal construction industry. Established in 1976 the Association of Manufacturers of Metal Windows/Doors/Gates/Facades is a working group of the Wirtschaftskammer Österreich, which covers the specific needs of the metal construction industry.
SERVICE AND ADVOCACY
The AMFT currently serves approximately 60 member companies from all provinces of Austria as a service organization. Members are primarily metalworkers, but also the suppliers of aluminum profiles and as well companies in the glass industry.

The AMFT is not only a service organization, but also advocacy for their members. It gives opinions either directly or as part of the Wirtschaftskammer Österreich (WKO) and has access to an huge network.

Representation before authorities in connection with regulations and tender conditions
Participation in national and international standardization committees
Participation in national and international associations
national and international public relations and information gathering
