SchücoFlam® C is a fire-protecting glass made of two or more ESG-panes. Due to the ESG construction it is particularly robust for transport, handling and installation, and can be combined in numerous variations with other glasses in multifunctional ways.
The gap between panes is filled with a transparent interlayer. If the interlayer is exposed to fire, it becomes opaque, foams and creates an insulating heatshield. The number of ESG-panes and interlayers is determined by the required fire resistance time. This allows SchücoFlam® C to reliably fulfil the highest fire protection requirements.
The transmission and penetration of radiant energy is almost completely prevented for a defined period. Depending on construction, SchücoFlam® C can resist fire up to 120 minutes. The opaque insulating interlayer prevents a view of the fire, preventing panic and shows the emergency services where the fire is.
SchücoFlam® C can be used internally as well as externally. It is mounted in steel and aluminium profiles and can be used in fire protection windows, doors, separating walls, and facades as well as slanting and horizontal glass.
Die Produktionszeiten für SchücoFlam® C werden von uns beabsichtigt und soweit wie möglich kurz gehalten – sprechen Sie uns bitte an.
Exterior window element with surrounding fixed fields For openable elements, a CE marking can be created. CE or ÜA CE from 01.10.2019 "a must"If an openable element has been tested in an associated supporting structure, (same glass, same construction) and left or right or up or down a fixed field is connected, then it is a portal → CE CE or ÜA CE from 01.10.2019 "a must"If further fixed elements are installed, then these are to be marked ÜA . ÜA
Exterior window element standing alone Marked with either CE or ÜA, where: CE as a "can" rule CE or ÜA CE from 01.10.2019 "a must"
Exterior door element standing alone Marked with either CE or ÜA, where: CE as a "can" rule CE or ÜA CE from 01.10.2019 "a must"

Façade element with insert element If an external (door) element has been tested together with the façade, then CE or ÜA CE from 01.10.2019 "a must"the supporting structure is an essential component. Door CE ("can"), Façade CE
Additional information on façades A special feature in AT is that there are no complete fire protection façades, but usually only sections. This means that in these cases a ÜA marking is required. Open elements with a closed system cannot be checked and a CE marking is therefore inadmissible (e.g. balconies).
