We offer two variants for finished aluminum surface
A) finished aluminum surface based on electrochemical finishing
B) powder coating with anodized aluminum
Finished aluminum surface based on electrochemical finishing
This procedure corresponds to the well-known surface finishing in the anodizing bath that has been used for decades. After an appropriate pretreatment (cooling down) the profiles are kept in the anodizing bath for a specific time period until the desired color shade is reached. A pretreatment through sharpening is (dependent on the profile contour) possible.
Powder coating with anodized aluminum
Standard anodizing aluminum is affected and can be damaged by salts or sprayed mortar Schüco has developed a color matched powder range to post-produce pastel shades. The surface looks similar to anodizing aluminum but in fact it is a powder coating.
