This project won the 2012 Architecture Competition in the category "Socio-Cultural Buildings", the "Green Design of the Year" award (Romanian Green Building Council), and first place in the BREEAM-Building Awards (category office buildings). The specific project requirements for the Crystal Tower were the construction of a double façade to include facets cut into unequal angles. The planning at this level of detail was made possible through the constant support of the structural engineering services Alukönigstahl.
