Energy requirements are well met with a comprehensive range of profiles and well-thought-out design details. The series is suitable for inward and outward opening windows. With construction depth of 65mm, different variants are available for many solutions with specific design requirements.

Can the Schüco AWS 65 series still be used in Austria today?

Profiles of the Schüco AWS 65 series have thermal insulation in the range of Uf = 1.9 ... 2.0 W/m²K. This is a good value for an insulated aluminium construction. The current requirement for window construction according to the applicable Austrian OIB regulations, as of 2015, states that Uw = 1.4 W/m² K for residential buildings and Uw = 1.7 W/m² K for office buildings. This is, for example, to meet the Schüco AWS 70.HI or AWS 75.SI+. (Source: OIB RL6 10/2011)

Profile der Serie Schüco AWS 65 haben eine Wärmedämmung im Bereich U_f= 1,9 ... 2,0 W/m²K. Dies ist ein guter Wert für eine isolierte Aluminiumkonstruktion. - Die aktuelle Anforderung an Fensterkonstruktionen nach derzeit gültigen österreichischen OIB Regelungen liegt derzeit, Stand 2015, bei U_w= 1,4 W/m²K für Wohnbau und U_w= 1,7 W/m²K für Bürobau.
