Insulated sliding or lift-slide system for large surface glazing

The Schüco sliding and lift & slide system ASS 50 is the basic solution for regions with basic requirements of thermal insulation. The insulated aluminum construction with its narrow profile face widths of just 89 mm is suitable for large glass surfaces with maximum light transmission - with minimum space requirements.

For the sliding and for the lift & slide variant shapely fittings and handle combinations are available.

Note

This system can also be supplied in uninsulated form.

How small can Schüco sliding systems be built as a minimum?

1) Firstly, there must be a distinction between the two system types, sliding and lift-sliding. The fittings of the two versions are different and can therefore be processed differently by the producer in special cases.

2) The following rule must be complied with:

Max. height = 2.5*width for manually movable systems (therefore: min. width = height/2.5)

Max. height = 2.0*width for motorised movable systems (therefore: min. width = height/2.0)

3) Special approvals will be issued on request for special projects (based on CAD documents).
