The KÖNIG STAHL HOLDING B.V., formerly Rembrandt van Maas B.V. was acquired in 1990 together with Maasstaal B.V. from the König Group, and today has direct participation in the steel trading companies König Stahl sp.z o.o. in Poland, AluKönigFrankstahl s.ro. in Czech Republic, AluKönigFrankstahl s.r.o. in Slovakia, Königfrankstahl kft. in Hungary and Königfrankstahl srl. in Romania. 

The König Stahl Holding undertakes important control tasks for the steel activities of the remaining companies of the König Group.​​
